Shonda Rhimes is fed up with the "dumbasses" who support anti-LGBT legislation.

The Grey's Anatomy creator posted a message on Twitter today, which stated she is "fed up" with those who would oppose transgender people using the bathroom that corresponds with their gender identity.

Recently, states like North Carolina and Mississippi have passed various forms of so-called bathroom bills, which incite fearmongering and create legal barriers for those in the transgender community to use public facilities. Trans people living in Oxford, Ala., now risk a $500 fine and up to six months in jail if they use a bathroom that matches their gender identity.

This is not the first time Rhimes has spoken up for LGBT rights on social media. The How to Get Away With Murder producer, responding to an antigay fan who objected to the ABC show's "gay scenes," addressed her show's portrayal of men having sex with men in 2014.

"If u use the phrase 'gay scenes', u are not only LATE to the party but also NOT INVITED to the party. Bye Felicia," she wrote.
