CNN broke the news late on Friday that special counsel Robert Mueller approved the first charges in his investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election, as well as obstruction of justice; someone could be arrested as soon as Monday, according to the report.

Roger Stone, an unstable ex-advisor to President Trump, became even more unhinged upon hearing the news and launched a puerile attack on CNN and its anchors, and included a homophobic swipe at out journalist Don Lemon.

Stone also attacked other veteran journalists, with all the tweets still appearing in his feed 12 hours after initially posting them on Friday night.

Stone himself has been called a "dirty trickster," and been accused of being behind the illegal dump of emails from Hillary Clinton's campaign manager. Stone's sexuality has also been a subject of rumor; he has called himself a "trysexual."

UPDATE: Stone has now been suspended from Twitter, and may be permanently banned.
