The Germans speak from experience.
A number of critical magazine covers have featured President Trump since he took office, from Time covers highlighting the Russia probe to more recent cover stories about the backlash from the Charlottesville protest.
Like these, for instance:
“Racists, anti-Semites and white supremacists. Or as @POTUS calls them, "very fine people."

Wednesday's front page: https://t.co/vHdKLBQeww”— New York Daily News (@New York Daily News) 1502847683

But a new cover for Germany's Stern magazine shows an image of Donald Trump draped in an American flag and giving a Nazi salute, with "Sein Kampf" ("his fight" or "his struggle") in bold letters across the bottom.
This might take the cake for most shocking:
The language below the headline translates to "Neo-Nazis, Ku-Klux-Klan, Racism: How Donald Trump Stirs Hatred in America":A bold statement from a country familiar with fascism! Twitter users agree:
Some Twitter users came to the magazine's defense:
“@_Thinker_Bell__ @Mike_Walsh_FIN @AndrewBeatty @Jesper_Sunden @sternde And they are the only nation of all those involved who really learned their lesson. Unlike that banana republic between Mexico and Canada...”— Doktor Seltsamliebe (@Doktor Seltsamliebe) 1503522162
“@mats_aberg @GawdMadge @AndrewBeatty @noclador @sternde And why's that? Because of our history? Unlike others WE learned from our past and more than 70 years later we are allowed to speak up!”— Mats (@Mats) 1503522438
Not a good look, Americans:
“@AndrewBeatty @sternde It doesn't get any worse when Germany is calling you out for having a Nazi leader”— K8 (@K8) 1503534198
