Shangela stole the show at the GLAAD Media Awards.

The RuPaul's Drag Race star gave an eight-minute lip-synch and dance performance to a medley of Beyonce songs that had the crowd cheering Thursday at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

Even Beyonce was spotted giving the A Star Is Born actor a standing ovation. Later, when the "Formation" singer took the stage with her husband, Jay-Z, to accept the Vanguard Award, she gave a shout-out to the drag performer. "I put a run in my stocking from Shangela," she said, before delivering an emotional speech about her commitment to LGBTQ rights and her gay uncle who died of an AIDS-related illness.

Hosted by RuPaul's Drag Race judge Ross Mathews, the 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards also presented its Stephen F. Kolzak Award to Sean Hayes, the gay star of Will & Grace. Lizzo was the evening's performer. Other special guests included Adam Lambert and the casts of Queer Eye, My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, One Day at a Time, Dear White People, and Love, Simon.
