With a successful YouTube career and a New York Times best-selling book under his belt, Conor Franta has launched a new endeavor, a roundtable discussion series called Loud & Clear. The first episode premiered Monday on the YouTube channel for HeardWell, the record company he cofounded. Audiences can tune in to watch prominent YouTube stars Scotty Sire, Gabbie Hanna, Eva Gutowski, and host Franta discuss mental health, media burnout, dating apps, and more. Franta wanted to create a space where people can be open and honest about the topics we tend to avoid. "I feel like people think they're walking on eggshells at all times," the creator shared.

One of those topics is the pressure of unrealistic body standards among the gay community, especially on dating apps. "I don't know how all of these people look this way. In a way that I'm like, it's unhealthy. There's no way that everyone can look this good all the time. It's impossible to compare yourself to," Franta says in the episode.

The constant comparison was something that fellow YouTuber Scotty Sire had never thought of before, a perfect example of the series fulfilling its purpose -- to open dialogues about topics we've been trained to avoid, therefore educate and break down stigmas.
