But first watch these Drag Race alumnae talk to the Disclosure actress in this exclusive roundtable.
What's the first thing eight drag queens did once they were released from isolation? They spent the weekend together in a castle, of course!
Hosted by actress, performance artist, and trans activist Candis Cayne, Pride Castle is the highly anticipated third edition of Werq The World's live stream series. The live show streams June 26, and will feature RuPaul's Drag Race alums and fan favorites -- including Season 11 winner Yvie Oddly, Heidi N Closet, Raja, Naomi Smalls, Kim Chi, Plastique, and reigning Drag Superstar, Jaida Essence Hall.
As Cayne leads viewers through the grand halls of Pride Castle, viewers will be treated to showstopping drag performances that could wake even the sleepiest of the castle's dormant spirits. Each performance will take place within a different palatial room within the castle, and the show will conclude with a live ball featuring all of the queens performing together in the decadent courtyard.
"This will be a unique experience as the queens have not performed together since the start of the pandemic in March," says producer Brandon Voss. "And this will be Jaida's first live performance since winning Drag Race so who knows what surprises she'll have in store!"
In addition to the fun and fabulosity, the queens will participate in a roundtable discussion that will touch on the impact the current pandemic and Black Lives Matter movement have had on the LGBTQ+ community.
The show's net proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the National Black Justice Coalition, an organization dedicated to empowering the Black LGBTQ+ community. One hundred percent of viewers's tips and donations will also go to the organization.
Don't forget to live stream Werq the World: Pride Castle tonight on Voss Events at 8:00 pm EST. Presale tickets will be available for a limited time for $9.99 and the show will be available for replay for 48 hours after the live event.
