Maxine Waters Puts Stamp of Approval on 'Reclaiming My Time' Gospel Remix

California Congresswoman Maxine Waters, a vocal proponent of impeaching Donald Trump, was not the one Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin should have tried to mess with during a hearing of the House Financial Services Committee when he deflected her questions with flattery and general ignorance of the rules. Waters, while attempting to get to the bottom of the Trump administration's connection to foreign banks, coined the now-viral phrase "reclaiming my time" with each millisecond of her questioning that Mnuchin attempted to eat up. Now there's a viral gospel remix of "Reclaiming My Time" from Broadway performer Mykal Kilgore that Waters has stamped with her approval.

Kilgore, whose Broadway credits include Motown the Musical and Hair, has also appeared in the first national tour of The Book of Mormon and the world premiere of Marley, and has performed several cabaret shows throughout New York City, and now he's caught the attention of the nation. The women of The View praised his remix on Monday's show.
