This Friday, Golden Globe nominee for her turn as the rising singer in A Star Is Born, Lady Gaga opened her Las Vegas show Enigma, named for the extravaganza's avatar that guides the audience through the wild experience.

Gaga played her opening Enigma show, which sits down at the Park MGM on the Sunset Strip, to a sold-out crowd. At one point she performed her mega-hit "Just Dance" while playing a keyboard guitar and flying high above the crowd in an aerial harness, according to theLas Vegas Review-Journal.

For the show, Gaga turned out a set of modern classics including "Bad Romance," "Poker Face," and "Telephone" while clad in over-the-top costumes and performing intensely choreographed dances. But it was when Gaga stepped up to the piano to perform her hit "Shallow" from A Star Is Born that she opened up and broke down to a point where she had to collect herself.

Building on her now-infamous quote "You know, there can be 100 people in a room and 99 won't believe in you but all it takes is one," about her A Star Is Born director Bradley Cooper's support of her acting ability, Gaga thanked the audience for their unending love that helped get her to where she is.

"I love you so much. I've known some of you for so long. Do you remember this?" she asked, pointing to the classic Gaga concert tee she was wearing. "That's you and me. And for a really long time, I felt so misunderstood. I thought the way I dressed, the way I talk, the attitude, they thought it was shallow. But this shit is deep as fuck. I love you so much. I'm so proud to be your star, but the truth is, you gave birth to me."

Audience members can be heard singing throughout "Shallow" and then screaming "We love you" at Gaga as she pauses mid-song to collect herself.
