Fans went wild when superstar Adam Lambert delivered a slow-burn rendition of Cher's "Believe" for her at the Kennedy Center Honors last December. Indeed, a visibly moved Cher hopped to her feet for a standing ovation when Lambert had finished belting the final notes of the classic tune.

To commemorate the anniversary of the performance, Lambert posted the following message on Instagram.

"It's been a year since I performed this cover live fo @cher at the #kennedycenterhonors. A lot of you have mentioned wanting a studio recording- so here's a little holiday gift from me to you. Thank you for being the most loyal and dedicated fans this queen could ask for! BELIEVE is out now!"

Since performing for Cher, Lambert toured with Queen this summer and released his Velvet album this fall.
