Beautiful and melancholy, girl in red's "two queens in a king sized bed" is a Christmas song for the times. And there's a new video with a queer love story to accompany the song ahead of the holiday.

"Two queens in a king-sized bed / There's no mistletoe above our heads / But I'll kiss you anyway on Christmas day / Yeah, I'll kiss you anyway on Christmas day," sings out Norgwegian musician Marie Ulven.

At a time when many are separated from loved ones for the holidays, the video for the song features Ulven and her true love afloat on the ocean on a king-sized bed at Christmastime.

Ulven debuted on Soundcloud nearly five years ago and has wowed critics with her sound that leans into her queer identity. "Two queens in a king sized bed" is the first single off of her upcoming debut studio album.
