Britney Spears is reportedly making her return to music with none other than Sir Elton John.

According to TMZ, and Page Six, the duo will be teaming up for a new version of John's 1972 classic "Tiny Dancer."

The pair secretly met at a Beverly Hills recording studio last week, and it was leaked that Universal Music will drop the single next month, Page Six reports. The insider source told the tabloid, "This was Elton's idea, and Britney is a huge fan. They have recorded a remix of 'Tiny Dancer' as a full duet -- and it is incredible."

Since coming out of her 14-year conservatorship in November 2021, fans have been anticipating Britney's return. On July 15th, she posted herself singing her 1998 hit, "...Baby One More Time." She captioned the video, "I haven't shared my voice in an extremely long time... maybe too long... and here's me playing at my house with a different version of 'Baby.'"

Britney has been talking about the next chapter of her career, according to People. "Tiny Dancer" may be the perfect way for her to get back into making music.

The 40-year-old star shared her love for the song back in 2015 with a tweet, saying, "Tiny Dancer #EltonAlways @eltonofficial."

Whether it was her manifesting or predicting this collaboration, it may be the next summer hit, with Grammy-winning producer Andrew Watt overseeing the track. The source from Page Six said, "They've already played it for people at their record label, and everybody is freaking out. It is so good. They are saying this is going to be the song of the summer."

The collab is expected to be released within a month, TMZ reports.

John's single with pop icon Dua Lipa called "Cold Heart (Pnau remix)" -- which was a single from John's album collaborative album The Lockdown Sessions -- topped charts worldwide last summer.
