Will Rosie
O'Donnell join The Apprentice?

Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump may once again butt heads, but this time it's on Trump's turf. No, we aren't talking about an American Gladiator-style joust on top of the Trump Tower (though who wouldn't love to see that?). Instead, the two might bring their fight into the boardroom on a celebrity edition of NBC's The Apprentice, according to The Washington Post.

The network agreed to pick up another season of The Apprentice after its British version received high ratings with celebrity contestants, NBC's new entertainment cochairman, Ben Silverman, announced in a TV press tour Monday. All contestants will be playing for charity.

"What could be more fun than Donald sharing his business acumen with celebrities on our air?" Silverman asked. "I think it would be great to have Rosie on The Apprentice. Donald told me personally to extend the invitation to her."

The history of O'Donnell and Trump's feud began last year when Trump gave then-Miss USA a second chance after she had been accused of underage drinking. (Trump owns the pageant along with NBC.) On the talk show The View, which she was cohosting at the time, O'Donnell expressed displeasure at Trump's decision, claiming he was a "snake-oil salesman." In return, Trump called O'Donnell "my nice fat little Rosie" and threatened a lawsuit.

O'Donnell spokeswoman Cindi Berger denied the news. "Not in this lifetime or beyond will this ever happen--someone needs to put down the crack pipe," she told The Washington Post. (The Advocate)
