Pastor Mark Holick was arrested for the second year in a row at Wichita Pride's festival Sunday, The Wichita Eaglereports. According to the Eagle,Holick, of Spirit One Christian Center, and approximately 20 church members gathered at the festival in Naftzger Park to distribute religious pamphlets and express their belief that homosexuality is a sin. Thomas Witt, vice president of Kansas Equality Coalition, told the Eaglethat Holick's presence was anticipated, especially after his arrest at Wichita Pride's 2007 festival. Although his 2007 criminal trespassing charge was dropped, Holick now faces a possible charge of battery after striking Witt with his $5 admission button, the Eagle reports. (The Advocate)
