DL Chronicles Meet and Greet, July 18 in Ferndale,
Mich.

The here! television network will partner with Affirmations, an LGBT community center in Ferndale, Mich., and Comcast Cable to host a free screening of the award-winning series The DL Chronicles on July 18. The event will take place at 7 p.m. at Affirmations, located at 290 West 9 Mile Road in Ferndale.

The screening will feature episodes 3 and 4 of season 1 of The DL Chronicles, followed by a meet-and-greet discussion with series creators Deondray Gossett and Quincy LeNear.

The DL Chronicles tells the stories of men of color who, by consequence and by choice, live sexually duplicitous and secret lifestyles.

The event will build awareness for the pro-social campaign Change Starts here! -- which offers Comcast Cable digital customers a way to support Affirmations and enjoy the best in LGBT entertainment.

Through July 31, for each new subscriber to here! on Comcast Cable, here! will donate $10 to Affirmations. The monthly subscription fee for here! is $7.99.
