Actor Jesse Eisenberg will portray poet Allen Ginsberg on the big screen in the upcoming film Kill Your Darlings , Variety announced today.
Chris Evans and Ben Whishaw will also star in the film from lesbian producer Christine Vachon. The screenplay -- written by Austin Bunn and John Krokidas, who will also direct -- revolves around a 1944 murder that brought together Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac, and William Burroughs, pioneers of the Beat Generation.
Eisenberg is currently starring in Adventureland .
