For the second time in as many years, Oprah's school for girls in South Africa has been rocked by a sex scandal. According to New York's Daily News, seven students were suspended last week for sexually harassing other students.

A South African newspaper reported that one girl had been accused of preying on other students and forcing her classmates to lie to investigators.

"You have been found guilty of physical contact of a sexual nature with another pupil on campus, harassment, bullying other girls on campus, and of being dishonest by not telling investigators the whole truth," a letter to her parents read.

The paper further reported that other classmates were caught fondling each other and attempting to convince other girls to join in.

A spokesperson for Oprah confirmed that some girls had been suspended but refused to go into further detail, claiming the incident is considered confidential.

When she opened the $46 million Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy School for Girls in 2007, the media powerhouse called it the proudest moment of her professional career. Ten months later the school was plagued by scandal when several students came forward claiming they had been abused by school advisers.
