Have you ever wondered who is voting for Rick Santorum? Meet the
Harris family and their new love song to the former Pennsylvania
senator's campaign.
"Game on, join the fight," sing Camille and
Haley Harris on lead vocals, "we finally got a man who will stand for
what is right."
Their parents, David and Cherri, play guitar and
keyboard in a new music video that lauds Santorum and his platform of
"justice for the unborn" and the return of manufacturing to the U.S.,
and praises him as "a man who understands that God gave a bill of
rights."
It's already got nearly 700,000 plays since being posted Tuesday.
The
catch is not everyone likes the message. The video had more than 10,000
dislikes compared to just 2,400 likes until the ratings feature on the
video was disabled by the poster.
Santorum's appeal to religious voters is evident wherever he wins. Entrance polls
show that he beat Romney among born-again and evangelical voters in
Iowa by 32% to 14%, an 18-point margin. With fewer candidates to contend
with later in the race, Santorum is taking even more of that vote. In
Tennessee, for example, exit polls say he beat Romney among born-again voters and evangelicals 43% to 24%, a 19-point margin.
There were no exit polls from Oklahoma, where the Harris family calls home, but Santorum easily won the state, 33.8% to 28%.
