Brazilian rapper MC Kevin has died after jumping from a hotel balcony to escape being caught having a threesome.

The 23-year-old rapper, full name Kevin Nascimento Bueno, was participating in a threesome with his friend Victor Fontenelle and 26-year-old model-escort Bianca Domingues May 16 when he thought his wife knocked on the door, according to Brazilian newspaper Extra Globo. Trying to avoid being caught, he made his way to the balcony and tried to jump to the terrace below, but missed and fell five stories to his death.

Bueno had reportedly fought with his wife earlier in the day and then went out with friends. This is when he met Domingues, and he and Fontenelle arranged the threesome with her.

His wife, 33-year-old Deolane Bezerra, a criminal attorney, was staying in the same hotel and tried to contact Bueno several times with no luck before starting to search the area for him. When Bueno heard a knock on the hotel room door, he assumed she had found him. It was actually another friend knocking on the door.

He tried to escape to the room below via the balcony but ended up missing and falling the entire way to the ground floor. He was rushed to a hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

MC Kevin had over 10 million Instagram followers and was at the beginning of a promising career.

On her Instagram, Bezerra shared a picture from the couple's recent wedding and expressed her overwhelming sadness at his death. "And on that day you spoke in my ear, 'life is now until death separates us'... how did we live everything so fast?... You left and took a piece of me, you were always so incredible... I waited 33 years to be happy and you abandoned me? It's not fair you will leave like this! It's no! It's not!"

Bueno's own Instagram also posted a tribute to the late musician. "Your voice will envelop and enchant the sky, your joy will keep the angels awake because it will never be forgotten," the message reads. "We thank all the messages of comfort and affection for our beloved. We ask for prayers and strength from everyone. Heaven welcomes you, Kevin!"
