The reports and rumors are flying around the second Sex and the City movie, including some very gay script leaks.
Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon reprise their roles as Charlotte York Goldenblatt and Miranda Hobbes, respectively, while Jason Lewis will be returning -- for at least one scene, according to various reports -- as Jerry "Smith" Jerrod, ex-beau of Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), now taking hormone pills, though her new love interest will be played by Max Ryan (Death Race, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen), according to TheHollywood Reporter. The English hunk Ryan will play Rikard, a European architect. Michael Patrick King will once again take the reins as writer and director. Miley Cyrus has been approached for a guest role, according to Life & Style magazine.
NOTICE! PLOT SPOILERS AHEAD!
Us Weekly is reporting that Big (Chris Noth) and Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) don't have the fairy-tale ending after their CityHhall wedding. A casting notice reveals that "Big loses a lot of money and takes a job in London, living alone in a one-bedroom apartment. Big gets really low and ends up in bed with another woman. After she leaves him, Carrie discovers she is pregnant."
And several media outlets report that Carrie's gay best pal, Stanford Blatch (Willie Garson) will marry Anthony Marentino (Mario Cantone) -- with none other than Liza Minnelli performing. Warner Bros.' New Line division has begun filming in New York, and the film is expected to premiere in May.
