Watch Trailer for 8: The Mormon Proposition

The first trailer is now available for 8: The Mormon Proposition, a film about the ballot initiative that eliminated same-sex couples' right to marry in California.

Pam Spaulding of the blog Pam's House Blend posted the trailer from producer Steven Greenstreet. Greenstreet said the documentary has just been submitted to Sundance and other film festivals.

8: The Mormon Proposition chronicles the religious beliefs and financial contributions that fueled Prop. 8, and it captures the national response that protested the measure.

Reed Cowan directed the documentary. Philanthropist Bruce Bastian served as an executive producer with Cowan.
