Explosions, crumbling buildings, people crying in the streets? Check, check, and check.
Like Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" and Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On," Adam Lambert's "Time for Miracles" -- the theme song for the upcoming 2012 -- is all power ballad, with a big-budget disaster-epic video to match.
Lambert hits the high notes with gusto and wails as bridges and buildings crumble and cars explode behind him. The song, according to industry analysts, is a strong contender for a Best Original Song nomination at next year's Academy Awards.
The only thing missing is a thump to the chest.
Take a look.
