The Westboro Baptist Church is back on the picket lines, this time targeting 12 stops across the state of New Jersey, including two high schools, in an effort to condemn the state's Jewish residents.

The members of this notoriously homophobic group have announced a stop at the New Brunswick campus of Rutgers University, which has one of the largest populations of Jewish students on a college campus. Hillel, the association of Jewish students, will counterprotest Westboro, according to the Courier-News, a newspaper in central New Jersey. Hillel associate director Rabbi Esther Reed said that her group has been working with other student leaders to turn out a big crowd, in a rally they're calling Rutgers United Against Hate.

Westboro will also protest the Anti-Defamation League of New Jersey. The ADL-NJ has issued materials on college campuses to counter anti-Semitic advertisements bought in campus newspapers.

Westboro, on its website, said its members wanted to "have a few words with [the students] because all of the people who ever had any influence over them -- LIED."
