Rush Limbaugh Loves 'Leftist Gay' Site

On his radio show late last week, Rush Limbaugh praised a surprising website for its coverage of the economy -- the flashy, gay-content-heavy Gawker.com.

Calling it a "leftist gay gossip site," Limbaugh praised a recent Gawker column titled, "America Scared to Tell Wife It's Unemployed, Just Sits in Park All Day." Limbaugh read to his listeners the content of the post, written by Hamilton Nolan, about how the media is trumpeting the economy's return to normalcy, even as all evidence indicates the contrary. Even mega-corporation Exxon is down 68% in profits, Nolan writes.

"Where is this so-called recovery?" Limbaugh asked rhetorically on his show. "Even Gawker doesn't buy it." It sounds like the ultraconservative has found something in common with Nick Denton, the openly gay editor of the liberal and youth-minded Gawker Media empire.
