Casey Johnson, the troubled heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune and reported fiancee to reality star Tila Tequila, was found dead Monday morning in Los Angeles. She was 30 years old.
Johnson had been in the spotlight quite a bit in recent months. Arrested in November on grand theft charges, she was accused of robbing her former girlfriend.
Last month Tequila announced the two were engaged in a rambling video interview. "We're what you call U-Haul lesbians, where you meet and fall in love and move in the next day and have kids," Tequila shared on the video.
Before the video ended, the pair made out and Tequila added, "Anyway, we are going to make love tonight for our honeymoon."
Days after the interview was posted, Johnson's ex, Courtenay Semel -- the daughter of former Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel -- told E! Online's Mark Malkin the engagement was a sham and just a ploy for attention.
TMZ.com reported Johnson's death, saying the cause of death is undetermined. The heiress, who was known for tweeting multiple times per day, last posted to her Twitter account on December 29.
