Advocate columnist and Sirius radio show host Michelangelo Signorile appeared on Tuesday night's Joy Behar Show to talk about Anne Hathaway and her recent announcement that she has left the Catholic Church because of its views on homosexuality. Watch the video below.

Signorile tweeted Tuesday morning that he would be appearing on Behar's HLN show.

Behar, who has devoted a fair chunk of her airtime since debuting last year to gay issues, also had Jenny Sanford, wife of South Carolina governor Mark Sanford, on Tuesday's show. They discussed Jenny's book Staying True, which details her husband's affair with his Argentine mistress, Maria Belen Chapur.

The Joy Behar Show
airs at 9 p.m. Eastern nightly on HLN.
