Providence, R.I. mayor David Cicilline wants to become America's fourth openly gay Congress member, but right now some of his relationships are complicating his run for the House of Representatives.

Cicilline, often credited with ending corruption in Providence, has a brother convicted of corruption; John Cicilline was just released from federal prison after serving time for a scheme involving the former lawyer shaking down drug-dealing clients. There are allegations that the mayor was involved in rectifying a bad check scheme his brother was involved with in 2006. The congressional candidate, who is is running to replace Rep. Patrick Kennedy, said he is not involved in nor responsible for his brother's behavior.

To make matters worse for David Cicilline, his former police driver has just been arrested in connection with a cocaine-dealing ring. The mayor claims he had no idea that the driver, who is the husband of his longtime assistant, was involved with drugs.
