The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation has shared its concerns over Sunday night's episode of Family Guy, in which Glenn Quagmire's dad, a decorated Naval hero, decides to make the transition from Dan to Ida.

The episode featured scenes in which Lois Griffin instructs her daughter, Meg, to throw out a dessert that Ida brought to their home and another in which Brian Griffin vomits profusely after it is revealed that he had sex with Ida.

Glenn also has a difficult time accepting his father's change, but in the episode he says he is happy with it as long as Ida is happy. He then goes to the Griffins' house, where he attacks Brian for having sex with his father, but at the end of the fight, as Glenn walks out the door, Brian retorts, "Hey ... I f***ed your dad" and shut the door.

GLAAD's entertainment media manager Jonathan Rosales wrote in a blog post that the organization would address its concerns with Fox, the network on which Family Guy airs. He said that the next steps would be decided after the meeting.
