Activists including a Navy veteran discharged under "don't ask, don't tell" have staged a sit-in at Arizona senator John McCain's district office in Phoenix to protest his stance against DADT repeal.

The veteran, Quartermaster 3rd Class Shellaine Gokey, joined four activists from Human and Equal Rights Organizers. The Bilerico Project reports that the protesters began the sit-in early Tuesday morning. No arrests have been made as of press time.

An April DADT sit-in organized by HERO protesters at McCain's Phoenix office ended in arrests for civil disobedience.
