Gaga Goes Goth, Androgynous in "Alejandro"
As Lady Gaga's newest single, "Alejandro," blazes up the charts, the
artist released the nine-minute accompanying video Tuesday.
The dark, gothic video was directed by fashion photographer Steven Klein, whose past collaborations with Madonna are clearly visible in "Alejandro." The high-art video includes loads of religious imagery (including Gaga in a red latex nun's habit), and a little commentary on "don't ask, don't tell" with men dancing around in fishnets and combat boots.
