Gay defendants Joseph Price, Victor Zaborsky, and Dylan Ward await the decision Tuesday in their criminal trial on charges of conspiracy and obstruction of justice in the 2006 stabbing death of their friend Robert Wone (pictured), a prominent attorney.

According to the Washington City Paper, the defense closed Thursday in the trial in D.C. superior court. Judge Lynn Leibovitz will deliver her decision Tuesday at 11 a.m.

"The gay threesome maintain that an unknown intruder broke into their home at 1509 Swann Street NW and killed their friend Wone," reports the City Paper. "Prosecutors believe the men know the killer and are covering up to protect him."

A prominent Chinese American, Wone was married to a woman he met in 2002. What happened the night Wone was murdered has become a matter of intense speculation.
