At 53 years old, Martina Navratilova is the world's most decorated tennis player. On Sunday she added another trophy to her collection, winning the Wimbledon ladies' invitation doubles.

Navratilova and Jana Novotna beat Tracy Austin and Kathy Rinaldi-Stunkel 7-5, 6-0 in the final.

Going into the competition, Navratilova told The Observer says she still has shoulder tightness stemming from her radiation therapy for cancer, which ended just two weeks ago.

Navratilova, who has won nine Wimbledon singles trophies, was present for Serena Williams's fourth win last week. She talked to The Observer about her gay rights activism, her love of Lady Gaga, and Rafael Nadal's butt (among other things) in a new profile.
