Just in time for the Independence Day parade in Anchorage on Sunday, The Imperial Court of All Alaska created a float to replace one that burned Friday in a suspected case of arson as a hate crime.

According to KTUU-TV, the new, 25-foot long float with rainbow colors was called "Phoenix Rising." The float won the grand champion trophy at the parade.

The original float burned Friday morning in a suspicious fire that continues to be investigated. Authorities think the fire may have been arson, and the LGBT community fears the possibility of a hate crime.
