Bisexual Chicago DJ turned gay porn actor Jason Andrews made his first appearance before a Florida judge Wednesday morning on charges of murdering a Tampa-area tattoo shop owner in May.

Andrews was arrested by U.S. marshals last week in Tennessee. A warrant was issued for his arrest last month, and authorities caught up with him working as a bar manager in Chattanooga.

Andrews is alleged to have killed 41-year-old tattoo shop owner Dennis "Scooter" Abrahamsen. He reportedly had help from his lover, 28-year-old adult film performer Amanda Logue.

Police in Florida say the two porn actors killed Abrahamsen the morning of May 15 and took off with $6,000 cash, his credit cards, and a video camera. Abrahamsen had hired Logue to work at a sex party.

Logue and Andrews met on the set of a porn shoot late last year and told authorities they fell in love -- even though Logue was already married.

The pair were first arrested for trying to use Abrahamsen's credit card at a Florida Home Depot on May 18. Authorities didn't have enough evidence to connect them to the murder, and they were released.

Andrews was booked into Pasco County Jail on Tuesday night. He appeared before the judge via video conferencing.

Logue was arrested in Georgia on May 26 and taken to a Florida jail, where she awaits trial.
