A majority of judges in Mexico's high court has affirmed adoption by gays as part of Mexico City's recently enacted gay marriage law.

Joe.My.God has a bulletin from journalist Rex Wockner: "This was the court's third and final [gay] topic in recent days. First, it upheld Mexico City's same-sex marriage law, then it ruled that same-sex couples married in Mexico City are validly married all over the country (in all 31 states), and now [the Mexican high court] has determined that the inclusion of gay adoption in Mexico City's same-sex marriage law also is constitutional."

A CNN report in Spanish indicated nine out of 11 high court judges voted to approve adoption by gays.
