Update: An 11th suspect in the antigay Latin King Goonies attacks was arrested Thursday night and will be arraigned Friday, according to WPIX.

"A man who police say wrapped a chain around his fist and beat someone because he suspected him of being gay goes before a judge to account for the alleged crime. Luis Garcia is the eleventh arrested suspect in what's being called the worst gay hate crime in New York City in memory. Garcia will be arraigned in Bronx Criminal Court Friday."

The 10 members of the Latin King Goonies accused of a series of brutal antigay attacks in the Bronx appeared in court Thursday in New York.

According to NY1, the defendants appeared in Bronx Supreme Court to face charges including assault, sexual abuse and harassment as hate crimes.

"They are accused of sodomizing and beating a 17-year-old recruit at an abandoned apartment in Morris Heights," reports NY 1. "Prosecutors say the group then attacked another teen and a beat and sodomized a 30-year-old man they believed was romantically linked to the two teenagers. The suspect then allegedly beat up and robbed the 30-year-old man's older brother."

Attorneys for the defendants maintained their innocence. The suspects, all men, will testify at the trial.
