Former Project Runway contestant Jack Mackenroth will appear at the third annual Angels of Change event, a benefit that serves as a platform for transgender youths to showcase their abilities as leaders in the community.

The 2011 transgender youth empowerment calendar will be unveiled, followed by a fashion show in which trans-identified models will showcase themselves in wardrobe they perceive they will be wearing in their desired future profession. Calendar models will serve as "angels of change" encouraging and empowering other transgender youth to pursue and follow their dreams.

The event will be held Saturday at Los Angeles's Arena nightclub.

The details: Angels of Change - Arena Nightclub, 6655 Santa Monica Blvd., Hollywood, CA 90038.
