Anderson Cooper ripped into Clint McCance, the Arkansas school district board member who said that he wished "queers" would kill themselves, telling CNN viewers, "We think you should know his name."

Cooper, whose older brother committed suicide in 1988, spoke in cold tones about McCance. The vice president of the Midland school district posted hateful comments on Facebook following multiple suicides of LGBT youths because of bullying.

"These are not 'queers' or 'fags,' as Mr. McCance, calls them," said Cooper. "They are people. They are human beings. They are our fellow citizens."

Cooper also named some of the young people lost to antigay bullying.
