Gay groups in Australia object to a freestyle rhyme caught on video in which a police officer used antigay language in response to a rambunctious group of street rappers.

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, "A group of rowdy street rappers were on the verge of arrest after one delivered an offensive line referring to police as 'makin' bacon' during a confrontation outside a Fortitude Valley nightclub on October 8.

"However, Constable David Jay retaliated with a freestyle quip of his own, rhyming 'homo' and 'watching gay porn in slow-mo.'"

The exchange was filmed and posted on YouTube and another site, Real Talk Battles.

Now, groups such as PFLAG in Australia say that Jay should be disciplined for his offensive language. On the other hand, the Queensland Police Service praised him for establishing a rapport with the group, although the group said he had been informed about his "politically incorrect" language.
