Lords South Beach, a new gay hotel, is scheduled to open soon in Miami Beach.

Steve Rothaus of The Miami Herald reports on the 53-room boutique hotel set to open at 1120 Collins Avenue. Lords South Beach is making a soft fall opening in the space formerly occupied by the Nash Hotel.

According to the hotel's website, "Lords South Beach Hotel, Miami Beach is more than a hotel; it's a quantum leap in gay travel." It features "bohemian rooms," dining, and all the South Beach hot spots, while giving back to groups including the Hetrick-Martin Institute, the Point Foundation, and Care Resource.

Out magazine and Absolut are among the partners in the launch. Out, which is owned by the same parent company as The Advocate, is designing the concierge application for the hotel.
