San Jose Gay Cop: No Big Deal

Unland was re-elected vice president of the officers union in November. He says he and other officers thought there would be a big storm, but the biggest question being asked by officers is, why aren't there more?
"I am shocked that you have one openly gay man; that's absurd," Lt. Lea Militello, a lesbian who's president of the San Francisco Police Department's Pride Alliance for LGBT officers, told Mercury News. "You have an issue."
