Dave Franco (pictured, right) has his future mapped out. In addition to appearing in the upcoming remake of Fright Night with Colin Farrell, the 25-year-old actor has produced and directed a documentary-style series about college life and is writing a feature film he plans to star in with his older brother James Franco.

Dave and James will play characters named Davie and James, and "it all takes place around Thanksgiving and Christmas break around our hometown of Palo Alto, [Calif.]," Dave told MTV. "Our real family will be in it, my real friends from home will be in it, and the vibe of it is going to be an extended version of our Funny or Die videos."

Apparently life imitates art in more ways than one. Dave Franco says the film is basically a "90-minute version of [James] giving me sh-- and making fun of me."
