Marine Corps Blocks Homophobia Day Site
The U.S. Marine Corps. has reportedly blocked the website of the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia.
Joe Jervis of the siteJoe.My.God.reported Tuesday that a civilian employee of the Marine Corps wrote claiming that the site, homophobiaday.org, had been blocked "in accordance with Marine Corps and DoN policy governing the appropriate use of government information systems."
"The repeal of DADT is nearly official," says the article, "and the Secretary of State has issued a statement in support of the site's goals. But Marines still can't read about it. Or any other "LGBT" classified sites, apparently."
