Colorado senator Mark Udall, one of 28 cosponsors of a Senate bill to repeal the Defense of Marriage Act, is on board for full marriage rights.
"I support marriage equality," Udall said when asked about the issue by Examiner.com reporter and Advocate contributor Sunnivie Brydum at One Colorado's Ally Awards event in Denver over the weekend. "I think the way in which it's unfolding has lessons for all of us. Let's work in our states, let's work with our neighbors, let's work with our communities, let's work with our elected officials, and I have no doubt that we'll soon reach marriage equality in states and then across our nation."
