In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network, conservative activist Matt Philbin says Hollywood is the only place where it's normal for people to have "lesbians in their family who are raising young children."

Philbin, of the Culture and Media Institute, appeared to talk about the fall television season and stated that "prime time is no longer an environment for kids" and that the shows don't portray "normal" lives.

CBN listed three shows it particularly considers too sexual -- NBC's The Playboy Club, Fox's Glee, and the CW's Gossip Girl. Glee was the focus of most of Philbin's comments.

"The problem with Glee is it's marketed as this fun, family-friendly sort of musical romp. But the romp is really in the bedroom," Philbin said. "Sex is a major theme throughout, as is homosexuality, both male and female." Another problem with the show, he said, is its "covert political statements."

Philbin claimed the public is desensitized to sexual subject matter because it is portrayed "normal life for them" and that people in Hollywood are accustomed to having lesbian parents in their family -- the rest of the country, "not so much."

Philbin's group has a blog, NewsBusters, that works to "expose and combat liberal media bias."

Watch the video below -- and keep in mind, this is the same man who publicly criticized J. Crew president Jenna Lyons in April, for a photo in the J. Crew catalog of her son with his toenails painted pink -- because it's his favorite color.
