Kathy Griffin says that potential first husband Marcus Bachmann reminds her a lot of the type of men who attend her shows, alluding to her core audience of gay men while appearing on last night's Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
While the two were chatting, the conversation turned toward Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann, her husband Marcus, and his controversial gay "reparative therapy."
"The Bravo special was supposed to be called Pray the Gay Back," Griffin says. "You get the Marcus Bachmann joke? Marcus Bachmann is one of my new favorite targets, he's Michele Bachmann's husband. OK, he's very antigay and LGBT rights, and it's odd, because if you look at him on YouTube, it's almost as if he himself ... or, it's as if ... "
Ferguson warns her to be careful choosing her words.
"I would say that Marcus Bachmann reminds me of a lot of the type of men who come sees my live shows."
