Cheyenne Jackson and Nathan Lane -- both out veterans of Broadway, film and television -- will star in an upcoming comedy pilot for the USA Network.

The show will center around an actor suffering a career slump, played by Lane, who heads to Texas to care for his sick father (portrayed by Ken Jenkins, formerly of Scrubs). While there, he meets and befriends a doctor played by Jackson.

Jackson and Lane have individually starred in diverse fare that includes The Producers, United 93, The Birdcage, and 30 Rock -- they previously co-starred in a web series promoting the Tony campaign for Jackson's Xanadu role (watch below). Read more at Deadline Hollywood.
