Josh Charles Joins the Americans for Marriage Equality Campaign
Actor Josh Charles, who plays attorney Will Gardner on TV's The Good Wife, is the latest celebrity to join the Human Rights Campaign's Americans for Marriage Equality campaign.
"You don't need a law degree to understand fundamental fairness," Charles says in the 30-second spot. "Everyone should have the right to marry the person they love."
According to the HRC's website, "Americans for Marriage Equality is a public engagement campaign featuring prominent Americans who support committed gay and lesbian couples getting married. The campaign draws from a cadre of supportive professional athletes, film and music celebrities, political, and civil rights leaders."
Other celebrity Americans for Marriage Equality spokesfolk include actors Mo'Nique and John Leguizamo, and legendary civil rights leader Julian Bond.
