John Waters Rates Dan Savage, Gaga, Bachmann As Santa

John Waters says Michelle Bachmann would have "too many dumb opinions about children's gifts" to be a good mall Santa and Lady Gaga's outfit changes would make the line a lot slower, in an interview with Huffington Post.

The director-raconteur offers his thoughts on how celebrities would fare as shopping mall Santa Clauses, saying that while his late pal Divine would have been great, he's not so sure about others. On Dan Savage, Waters says, "I think children who get their sex advice from Santa Claus are in for some real trouble."

Asked his opinion of Fox's musical series Glee, the filmmaker replies, "I think it's great, are you kidding? I think it made every 14-year-old gay boy safer."
