A gay bar in Chicago is being investigated by the Illinois Department of Human Rights for not permitting women to enter after 11 p.m.

Wang's is one of several bars in Chicago's Boystown neighborhood that have been accused of not welcoming women, The Huffington Post reports.

The news organization notified City Council member Tom Tunney, who represents the area, that several women have reported being treated poorly, denied service, and asked to leave. Additionally, the bottom of the drink menu reads, "Men Only After 11 p.m."

A manager for Wang's told HuffPo that there is no discrimination at the bar. "If women want to come in, they are welcome at all hours," he said, adding, "There had better not be any policy like this."
