Evacuating from the Los Angeles fires? Here are some resources to help

Here's the latest information on shelters, closures, and free services for those impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires.

At least five people are dead and nearly 180,000 are under evacuation orders as multiple fires continue to spread in the Los Angeles area.

Over 11,000 acres in the Pacific Palisades, and 10,000 acres near Altadena and Pasadena have been burned, according to the latest updates from CBS, resulting in more than 1,300 structures destroyed and over 60,000 threatened. Here's the latest information on shelters, closures, and free services.

Evacuation shelters include:

  • El Camino Real Charter High School (5440 Valley Circle Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91367)
  • Northridge Park (10120 Reseda Blvd, Northridge, CA 91324)
  • Pasadena Convention Center (300 E Green St, Pasadena, CA 91101)
  • Ritchie Valens Recreation Center (10736 Laurel Canyon Blvd, Pacoima 91331)
  • Sepulveda Recreation Center (8825 Kester Ave, Panorama City, CA 9140)
  • Westwood Recreation Center (1350 S Sepulveda Blvd 90025): Accepts small animals.
Animal evacuation shelters include:
  • Agoura Animal Care Center (29525 Agoura Rd, Agoura Hills, CA 91301): Small animals only.
  • Los Angeles Equestrian Center (480 Riverside Dr, Burbank): Open for evacuation of large animals.
  • Pasadena Humane Society (361 S Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105): Small animals only.
  • Pierce College Equestrian Center (7100 El Rancho Drive, Woodland Hills): Open for evacuation of large animals.

For those evacuating, Uber has offered a $40 credit using the code WILDFIRE25. 211 LA is partnering with Airbnb to offer free temporary housing for people who have been displaced.
